The Consular Agent is responsible for providing emergency consular services as authorized by 22 USC Section 3943 (Section 303 of the Foreign Service Act of 1980) and the U.S. Department of State regulations in Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 71.1 and 71.6. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, year-round resident of or will relocate to Ixtapa. Candidate must have authorization to work in Mexico (FM-3 or equivalent). Candidate must demonstrate fluency in Spanish and English. 

El Agente Consular es responsable de proporcionar los servicios de emergencia consular autorizada por 22 USC Sección 3943 (Sección 303 de la Ley de Servicio Exterior de 1980) y el Departamento de EE.UU. de los reglamentos del Estado en el Título 22, Código de Reglamentos Federales (CFR), 71.1 y 71.6. El candidato debe ser ciudadano de EE.UU., el año de residente permanente o se trasladará a Ixtapa. El candidato debe tener autorización para trabajar en México (FM-3 o equivalente). El candidato debe demostrar fluidez en Español e Inglés.
